Handgun Fundamentals

In this class we are introducing you to the world of proper handgun fundamentals and techniques. We will cover the top 4 firearms fundamental safety rules and why they are important. You will learn the proper stance and grip of the pistol based on body mechanics, trigger control, sight alignment and sight picture, recoil management, applying torque to the pistol, speed reloads & admin reloads, target transitions, and rapid fire techniques.

Class fee: $250; $350 if firearm and ammo is provided by us

Class hours: 9a-1p

Requirements: handgun (one can be provided for an additional fee), ear protection (electronic recommended), eye protection, closed toe shoes, minimum of 3 magazines (bring more if you have them), minimum of 300 rounds of ammo (the more you bring the more you can shoot).

Recommended: T-shirt (low cut shirts and tank tops are strongly discouraged! Hot brass will find its way in and no one like hot brass down the shirt), sun block, water, snacks if needed, pen & notebook if you like to take notes, hat with brim (you will be outdoors and in the sun)
